Self-Closing Flood Barrier
Self-closing Flood Barriers are a unique, automatic flood defence system which are highly suitable for rapid onset flooding, when there is little time to deploy manual measures. The Self-Closing system resides below the ground in a steel or concrete basin. It automatically rises with incoming water, creating an effective barrier.
As the water level lowers again, the system works in reverse and lowers back to the ground. This flood barrier is customisable in length with different methods of installation. Ideal for use against coastal floods, riverside floods, and for use in railway and property defences.

· No manpower – automatically deployed.
· No storage requirements – in resting position, the barrier is invisible and fully self-protected below ground.

Automatic Hydraulic Flood Barrier
Automatic Hydraulic Flood Barriers are an automatic flood defence alternative. The hydraulic barrier is a passive system ideal for rapid onset flooding scenarios where quick deployment is critical. The system can be offered with electric or without electricity requirements.
This system can be either embedded flush into the ground or mounted on the surface. When floodwaters reach a certain level, the defence door lifts promptly, and warning lights are activated to inform any pedestrians of the defence system moving into position. This system can also be manually activated and locked into place.
