Automatic Self Closing Barriers are a unique, automatic flood defence system
The SCFB is a passive flood defence measure which is highly suitable for rapid onset flooding, when there is little time to deploy manual measures.
The system uses a simple but ingenious concept of using the approaching floodwater to automatically raise the barrier; effectively using the problem to create the solution.
The barrier can be built to any required length, and is set within a basin made form either PE-HD, concrete, steel or stainless steel. Depending on the required length and location, we can advise the optimal solution for the specific location.
